How Tree Planting is Changing Njombe
Over the past two years, Save the Planet has mobilized schools, youth clubs, and farmers to plant more than 12,000 trees in degraded lands. Njombe’s hillsides are slowly turning green again thanks to these collective efforts. Beyond just shade and scenery, trees restore soil health, absorb CO₂, and prevent erosion—essential for a changing climate.

StP has established local tree nurseries and partnered with schools to launch annual reforestation drives. This ensures long-term care and ownership of tree projects.
